Taylor is a freelance commercial and documentary cinematographer, as well as a creative content director at ArtCenter College of Design. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, he moved to LA in 2013, and more recently spent the last few years designing and building a small home in the foothills of Pasadena with his wife, dogs, and cats.

He’s had the privilege of sharing a lot of incredible stories over the last decade-plus. He studied film at Loyola Marymount University and was subsequently mentored by Matthew Jensen, ASC (The Mandalorian, Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman 1984). Taylor has worked as a DP on commercials for brands like Airbnb, Amazon Alexa, Red Bull, and Vans. He has also directed and produced outdoor adventure films that have screened at festivals including Banff and Telluride Mountainfilm. He is currently working on launching a podcast about outdoor adventure filmmaking, as well as taking a $49/mo Coursera course on UX design. It’s been many months.

Taylor rock climbs, mountain bikes, and wishes he could still skateboard but is afraid of spraining another ankle.
